Materials
We produce life-sized standees in a variety of materials, each with its own unique features.
- The standard, most economical material available for your life-size standup is coated cardboard. This option is best for indoor use and moderate handling.
- For the highest print quality standup photos, we recommend foam core. This is a very flat material and provides the sharpest image quality for your life-sized cutout.
- If you need your life-size cutout to survive the elements, or you want to reuse it for multiple events, we recommend corrugated plastic. This material is similar in construction to cardboard but is impervious to the elements and more durable than regular cardboard.
All of the materials are printed with UV-resistant, waterproof inks on commercial quality inkjet printers. Your life-sized cutout will not fade in the sun and will look great for many years.
Cardboard Cutout Standees include a sturdy stand with all life-size cutouts. Cardboard cut outs and foam core cut outs set up quickly with a permanently attached stand. Corrugated plastic cut outs set-up quickly with a stand that can be removed and re-attached. It is perfect for when you need to take down and transport your life-size standee for trade shows or promotions.
Text Options
We offer a variety of ways to add text to your life-size standee. Speech bubbles, thought bubbles, and signs are all available. Want your life-sized cutout to include a humorous quote? We can print the text you want in a speech bubble, thought bubble, or sign. Or, if you and your friends want to use your creativity and write your own messages, choose the dry-erase whiteboard option for your life-size cutout. For these options, we can provide full-body party cardboard cutouts or we can print your life-size standee to include the background printed on a full rectangular sheet to enable your guests to best hide behind the image for that perfect picture.
Photo Editing
Sometimes, it is difficult to find the perfect photo for your life-sized standup. For assistance with capturing and selecting images, read some tips here.

- is cut off at the legs / knees / feet, we can add the missing body parts.
- has an arm hidden behind another person, we can add an arm.
- includes an annoying shadow or flash spot, we can eliminate it.

Extra Large Options
Cardboard Cutout Standees can make extra-large cutouts. Though our maximum size for a single panel standee is 45 inches by 118 inches, we can stretch the limits by using multiple panels to produce giant cardboard cutouts. This allows us to make life-sized cutouts for everything from large group standup photos to that life-sized giraffe you always wanted!
